Calculus Early Transcendentals Rogawski 2nd Edition was okay for basic calculus. The worked out examples in the chapter helped. I often thought the choice of problems (especially in the "Further Insights and Challenges") was very interesting and gave students a good taste of many concepts (Gamma function, Bessels Functions, Cantor Sets, Fractals etc). However the text had far too many error. It derives a vector identity incorrectly. It has a typo in its definition of the bessel function. Many answers given in the back of Calculus Early Transcendentals Rogawski 2nd Edition are not correct. This can be very confusing to a student just learning calculus.
